Washington Sound Museum XIV
Fusion Virtuosi
Washington Sound Museum’s 14th installment focuses it’s attention on the dynamic instrumentalist that helps shape Christylez Bacon’s Progressive Hip-Hop sound. The featured artists are Hindustani Classical violinist, Nistha Raj, Post-Classical cellist, Wytold, and Jazz saxophonist, John Kocur. These talented musicians are all masters in their own genres that push the envelope by incorporating worldly sounds, as Christylez Bacon does in this series.
September’s Washington Sound Museum takes place on the 29th at Bloombars in Columbia Heights and is preempted by a traditional tea ceremony where patrons can enjoy a unique tea and learn about its history.
