I think that this is real touching. Me being a teen that currently lives in a rough neighborhood in NW Washington, DC I completely understand where you are coming from. Its amazing how someone can become more than their environment and you have inspired me to pursue my dream of wanting to become an Event Planner.

I’m psyched to see a Ward 7 residents makin it happen! I don’t, however, see the Deanwood Library (49th & Quarles Sts. NE). It is a combo rec center and library, opening up on June 25. Maybe Chris can do the finale here; it would be grand & also a treat to attract a variety of users.
